Welcome! Hopefully you can find other that have experience travelling long-term on a steel horse. 
Every time I cross paths with peeps on their motorcycles with all their shit strapped they seem stoked. Seems like an awesome way to experience the road.

I Am currently trying to work on a project that's somewhat of a dream ride. I got a 1957 Harley Panhead motorcycle engine and a 1958 panhead frame. I am in the works of trying to put it together but its gonna take a long time. What's sick tho is the engine is all original and apparently its some kind a special conjuration that they only made like less then 200 of. The real dream tho is a Knucklehead but this thing is the second best thing.
