they call me sherbert

Sherbert

Hey everyone! the name is sherbet. after 24 years of the same hometown in Kentucky I packed my backpack and set out on the Appalachian Trail. I spend 4 months (march-July) and walked from Georgia to less than 20 miles of the Connecticut border. while on trail I met so many interesting people from different places (they even gave me the name sherbert). after getting home I read "the anarchist guide to travel" and decided this was a community I wanted to be apart of. on my adventure I walked, and hitched from trail into town and back. I am very interested in hitching again as well as learning more about travel by bike. I love to hike, rock climb, and live out of a backpack. if any of these things interest you or if you can help a novice climber and cyclist then lets be friends!

nice, thanks for picking up the book and welcome to the community. is connecticut the end of the trail or did you stop early?
