Gone Walkabout
Over the past year or two a like minded mate and I have have seemingly (accidentally) created a little scene within a scene here in Pig City (Brisbane, Australia).
After a few two many drinks and billies the other night (pic below) we got talking and realised the beautiful group of people we'd be hanging out with where want we'd been craving in a scene...what we though "punk" should be...since long before we knew eachother.
Not totally sure why I'm sharing this or what my point is, I guess I've found a group I feel I belong with for the first time in memory. It was fucking beautiful, albeit sad, to have a couple of LGBTI+ mates come up to us and say that felt a hell of a lot safer with our little crew than anywhere else.
Fuck, it was just great.
