Red= proposed route
Purple= unsure about going via this route on way to dunedin. the area throguh there called the McKensie country is beautiful.
Blue= possible detours.

This is my idea for my trip. i intend to leave my flat and my job to hitchhike this route. i have no idea how long it will take and i only have a few contacts along the way (dunedin, Invercargill ,Nelson) i'm going to see if i can get work of farms along the way and i'm hoping to meet fuckload of awesome people.
this is the first time ive ever done something like this and i was wondering if you have any basic tips things to and not to bring kind fo thing.
