My friend @Daisy and I stop in Big Bend national park on our way west. The highlight was swimming in the Rio Grande river in the Boquillas Canyon; it's a nice swim if you're in the area.

Way cool! Big bend has been on my list forever but it always seemed like a pain in the ass to get to to, tons of driving through a lot of nothing? I'm guessing the park stays fairly visitor free based on that. Would you file it under a must see for nature nerds?
