Swimmin holes across the USA!

this one's not super obscure but everyone who goes through portland (or) says there's nowhere to swim which isn't true. just look up dabney state park, most times if you drive out you don't have to pay after hours or you can park on the side of the road and walk down to the river. there's nice deep spots for swimming, slow current and a cliff you can jump from
 
Minneapolis, the great twin cities!

check out twin lakes, catch the number 7 bus wbd from downtown. ride till the end of the line, follow luce line trail. if you see a bridge, walk back a few hundred feet and take a cut into the woods...here you will find the most magical nudist beach I have ever laid eyes on
