Stupid Hurricane hitting NC

I'm freaking out a bit regarding this hurricane hitting NC. My cousin lives on the coast, directly in the storm path. He has a pet racoon that roams during the day, but comes back to chill at his place at night. My cuz is ignoring evacuation orders because he doesn't want his coon to try to come back and not be able to get in. Ugh.

Thanks @siid. Told him if he needs help I'll head down. I've ridden out a few storms myself, this will be his first one. Like him I typically don't give about mandatory evacuations, but I get my shit together before shit happens. He isn't.
