Anyone know where I can find some good radio scanners.

I tried ebay, but no luck.

Not looking at spending over 100 dollars (£60 ish)
 
Yeah, even any half way decent truck stop should sell them....
Prices have come way way down too.

Never travel anywhere without one......
 
just realized the police frequency in the UK and most Europe is encrypted so normal scanners wont pick them up.

Apart from picking up police signals and railroad usage, what else is it good for?
 
I actually just picked up a trunking scanner from radio shack. I pocketed the display. I got to get an antenna for it. And I have to figure out how to use it then since I don't have the instructions. But you could do the same. I got a normal scanner from a boat once.
