Eric was a good guy and friend.He called me when my ex OD'ed and passed.Found out yesterday he had OD'ed and passed also.Alot of people tried to help.I know he tried and fought hard.In the end it took him like sooo many others.Hope you found your peace and that nice spot by the river to relax now.RIP Eric.

The BF has been involved with AA (he's alcohol dependent and recovering) for about 5 yrs now, was PA, now here in NY. And he has several people he sponsors - one kid who has OD'd a couple times but the EMT/cops had the narco pen on them and brought him back. But BF has had a bad year too - probably 4 people relapse and not make it - and since BF is quite kind - these things hurt him a lot. Tough out there.
