Hey all,

I'm Moses. I'm a late 20s recently housed traveler and host living in Baltimore. Recently, I started a journalistic project called Queers Documenting Survival. I'm looking for other queers to tell their survival stories, however you interpret survival. I've been on and off the street for about 7 years until I recently found a place in Baltimore. Happy to give back and would be willing to take someone in. Taking in 3 people tonight, but still have floor space. I don't have too much food though, so BYOF. I can pick you up and take you back to my place near Hopkins. Let me know. I know what it's like to be outside. It's cold this time of year. Looking to make new friends and make community here.

Welcome to the site! I happen to be queer writer (in the making) and this sounds awesome! I am VERY interested in contributing but I have a few questions first.

What sort of stories are you looking for? I know you said survival but that can be taken fairly broadly on this site. Also, I noticed you have the option for people to sponsor your site with what I assume money. Where does that money go? Is it for running the site or are you willing to pay authors for their contributions?

Thanks all for the warm welcome! I'd be happy to have comix and submissions.

There is an option to sponsor the site. The money goes towards my own basic needs (recently formerly homeless/couchsurfer/traveler status as less than a week ago) as a contributor, hosting space (after two days inside, I got a bunk bed and two twin mattresses in my space), and potentially paying people for their submissions. All submissions are owned by the person submitting them and will only be published on the site and promoted via Twitter accounts.

Separate, but also true, I will host anyone cool who is in Baltimore for atleast a night. Anyone cool in Baltimore? You're welcome to come and crash. Let me know via PM that you're in the area. Nothing sketchy. Just warm and safer than outside where you could get bugged by social workers or cops or both. Only thing you need to know is that I am straight-edged, so no drugs, etc. in the house.
