Those are cool but none of that is graffiti.

I 100% disagree. There's more than one form of graffiti, it isn't just fucked off writing on a wall. There's graffiti handstyles which is the writing and there's graffiti murals, the big art. There's graffiti throw ups which are more or less something in between the two. There's probably other types to add to that list as well.

Im not very flexible when it comes to what someone calls graffiti. If its not letters its not graffiti. Hell I dont even refer to legal walls as graffiti. Gotta be illegal. Most civilians see spray paint and call it graffiti. Nope. No sir. Im not here to argue about graffiti though haha. Rip 12oz.

Yeah I go back to 12 oz prophet days too. In fact I was arrested for graffiti in 1994 in the same railyard that I was later hired at. We definitely don't have to argue, we can agree to disagree. I'll stick to the actual definition of graffiti and you can stick to the definition you yourself have created for it.

My man Train in vain didnt make up that definition....you'll find that the original writers in NYC and Philly always did and still do refer to themselves as writers and writing includes tags, throwies and piecing - all letter based.

Graffiti was a term given to it by the media.Look up what the godfather of writing Phase too has to say on the matter.

Of course we're all free to go with whatever definition we wish but i'm going with the what i've learned from the original's of writing and not the media.

I get what you're saying, similar to cannabis being called marijuana. That's definitely an interesting explanation of it that I wasn't aware of.

[USERGROUP=17]@Staff[/USERGROUP] can someone change 'Just Graffiti' to 'Public Art'?

edit: I thank you

Haha regardless of terminology I love those. It's so interesting how different they are from the street art styles that I'm used to. Awesome pictures, too. :)
