Hopped freight out of tacoma.. Ended up in Pasco WA. From there attempted to hitch back to the Wishram yard, which resulted in going the completely wrong direction due to a language barrier. From a couple random truck stops and a ride from "SkyMan" a seattle "SUPERHERO".. (Yikes). We made it to Bend OR, from there to Ashland OR, walked a long while on I5, a few rides later ended up walking I5 giving up somewhere in Medford Oregon. The monkey in the tree was found walking back to an onramp where we got picked up somewhat quickly. Another ride after that.. the road dog has the monkey strapped to his backpack; at this point mind you we were in bumfuck nowhere on I5, the sun was setting, out of water and food. THEN! The magical bus arrives aka 'The Rage Bus' (bus pictured). Turned out they were the ones who left the monkey two days prior in Medford haha it was wild. We went to the seven feathers casino that night.. we ALL got kicked out. Anyways there is more to this wild chance of the universe story but pictures can tell it better than I can via text. THESE ARE ALL 35MM FILM PHOTOS!! :D

ha, that's awesome, i love the photos, what kind of camera did you use? i just got a sweet lens yesterday from 1962 that fits my camera and i can't wait to use it.

love the monkey :P I have a giant rabbit . I also shoot/develop film. thinking of starting a manipulated polaroid project

Why shouldn't digital photos have a depth of field? They have tendencially more depth of field then film photographs.
Or are you using dof in some metaphorical sense here?
Bet most people wouldn't recognize the difference between a well processed and digitalized 50-100 iso film and a digital shot.
Or a digital shot edited to look "film like".
 
I think I know quite a bit about photography, so unitl you deliver some argument against my claim I stand with it.
By the way, there is no need to answer in several posts all the time.

To bring some more content in here:
"Depth of field is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image."
Here you see what depth of field means, and film doesn't provide more of it.

atlastalias, no need to be a dick. I'm curious what you're talking about, as i'm just moving up from point and shoots to m4/3 photography myself, and am keen to learn.

On the subject of old stuff, i'm loving manual "legacy" lenses. Just ordered myself a soviet era 50mm lens, and have been trying out a whole container full (quite literally a rubbermaid container of old lenses) on my camera. Not quite a film look, but it's still quite fun.

I do love the old timey look of your pics, Spacedirt!
