North Carolina hitch hiking

Haven't been there in a long time but HWY 40 in Conover you'll get someone eventually if you don't look like a bum. Pilot just east of town if you can't find any 4wheelers

Once you get west of Morganton it gets real easy to camp if that's your thing.

Most of the rides I got were headed for Knoxville or Nashville.
 
Luckily I got out of bama and I went to western carolina for old times sake.

Back in conover there was easy camping behind the Walmart.

Hoofed it to the pilot in the east that I mentioned... nevermind that place. I would have been stuck but I ran into an old friend and he got me to Asheville.

Asheville changed or I did. Ran into tons of tweakers.
