i'm gonna be getting a mandolin soon and wanted to know what brand/maker fellow mandolinists would suggest. also, if you know any good stores near the sf bay area that have quality mandolins, let me know!

My first choice would be a Eastman, and I would probably get it off of craigslist in the bay area. There are always nice mandos for cheap.
