I'm new to the site and thought I would post a short intro. I currently live in WV waiting for the spring to head back west. I've been traveling since 2003 mostly by rail.

So what happened with the morphiene/xanax story? was that a true story or fiction? If true how did it turn out? I am naive but I thought morphiene only came in liquid form atleast that is all Ive ever seen with oncology patients, dilauted too for kids.

well welcome aboard man.

I posted some more of the story under stories / Wynn AR. and a Bottle of Pills.

And yes it's all true

Liquid morphine is rarely if ever prescribed outside of a hospital setting. Morphine pills (MS-Contin) are around, but not that often, as it sucks as an analgesic unless injected. Oh, and hydromorphone (dilaudid) is significantly stronger than morphine, so probably shouldn't be prescribed to kids.

I have intimate knowledge of the oncology world especially dealing with pediatracs & know for a fact that both of those liquid meds are common as needed meds above the fridge of any cancer patient. I have just never heard of morphiene pills, not that I didnt belive they existed just I had never heard/seen them. They are uncommon opposed to the usual oxycontin, percocet, morphiene & dilauded prescribed for pain. I will read more about the story.

Thanx

highwayman, it sounds like we're in the same part of the country yet I see morphine pills all the time. The people who live below me have been nodding out on em for the past month.
