I found this link today. Which might be useful to other dog owners. It lists 70 foods and medicines and tells you whether it's safe to give your dog. For example I didn't know that dogs couldn't eat grapes.

Now I know not to give my dog Oxycodone. It's a good list for people that feed their dogs human food and human drugs, but I just don't give my dogs anything made for a human. It prevents them from panhandling me every time I eat. By the way I didn't read anything about getting dogs drunk, so they can still have some fun.

My brothers dog does eat grapes...

I feel like there are some things on that list that I still would not feed my dog. It's refreshing to read something that encourages feeding garlic for flea treatment.

You really shouldn't give your dog alcohol, it can fuck up their livers pretty bad. Humans are better at processing it because primates evolved eating fruit, but dogs lack the enzymes required to break down sugars. I mean, a little bit is fine, but getting your dog drunk is really bad for it.
