In May, leaving Vermont/Upstate NY, heading south

I'm aiming to be in Charleston, SC for a Dead Confederate concert on May 27th. Heading out from Middlebury, VT around May 13th, maybe a few days earlier, and hoping to meet up with some others headed south either in Albany or some other city on the way. Anyone in my area?
