Hey everybody, the goal is Asheville and I'm not looking back. As an unexperienced traveler as well as an amateur person that talks to travellers, I want to make my move.

I'm 21. Had 21 jobs. Don't want to work. All while wanting to panhandle.

For some friggen reason I've always wanted to do this. I'm tired of waiting. The best way to learn is through experience all the way till I die.

Wanting to make a career out of panhandling is a pretty bleak outlook for a 21 year old to have.

I think you might be aiming to be a homebum and not a traveler.

Being a professional beggar ain't really something you should be striving to be, especially at yer age.

It's more like I want to travel with pretty much nothing. I'm not materialistic, and strive for the culture more than the act of panhandling I'd say but didn't in my OP.

To me panhandling/spanging always implied that if you dont work you have to beg;
which I dont like and is far from the truth. But to each their own.

Anyhow, @Iblis , you're hot and young. Sell your body, dood. Easy work. Duh.

I can easily score a job. That's my specialty. If I want to work, I will. If I want to prostitute myself, I probably won't. Taking dick in my experience is not something I like to do.

Also, can you elaborate on the quote?

I'd be happy to!
Plain and simple, You dont need a job to get what you need.
In my experience spanging/panhandling is more a result of laziness than necessity.
I understand there are those that dont have the physical and mental faculties to earn what they need, but for the vast majority of us we have the capacity to hustle in some way or another, especially the younger generation and the myriad of options available in our new gig economy.

I'm not one for a "career" as for me there are more important things to chase;
but it's important for a person to have skills or a trade, and if you dont you probably arent paying attention to life.
Even if it's how and where to dumpster, how to make moneys at a scrap yard, etc.
There's a lot of ways to be self sufficient that aren't so bad.
Plus, I really enjoy busting my hump at a gig for a couple weeks then being free to do what I want for a while. The balance of good and evil.

Lastly, I think the begging gives travellers a bad look in the eyes of the consumer class.
