super happy to be here !
I recently got off the water after floatin from Chicago down to New Johnsonville, Tennessee via the Mississippi and Tennessee Rivers. looking to maybe find a farm in the south to work and live on for the coming winter months. grateful for suggestions

Myself and three others were on an old Catlina 27 sailboat with plans of making it down to the Gulf of Mexico. We floated down the the Mississippi river and then once we hooked into the Tennessee river we started motoring (because of the rivers south to north current). Our motor got real fucked up near New Johnsonville, Tennessee so now it's stuck on a dock for the next few months until we get back to fixing it after winter (sails need sewin too !).
crew got sort of sick of one another so we split up for the winter
