I've been thinking about the lifestyle for a long time and recent events, involving work and family, have made me rethink the way I live my life. Working endlessly in order to "live", while staying in one place for the rest of my days.

Fuck. That.

I knew one day I would decide to take this on, so I already have a bag packed and ready to go. I set out Friday!

I mostly plan to hitch/walk. I gave some thought to trainhopping, but decided against it as I am no where near ready for that.

More direction than destination. I really want to go west since I've never been past Illinois. Other than that I kinda just want to wander around, see places and meet people.
