Hi everybody

I'm VintageSynth, I am 16 so I live with my parents as of now, but I plan on traveling in a van in the future (or if I just can't find a job at all, then I guess I'll hitchhike/trainhop). I am making an account now so I can see stories/advice from more experienced people to help me prepare.

How is everyone?

I'm doing OK so far! This lifestyle is difficult. JS. Develop work skills, such as carpentry or electrical. Learn basic first aid. Learn some life skills, like cooking, sewing, how to read a map. (Computers/laptops aren't always going to be in WiFi range, and cell phones die. Sometimes you'll find yourself in a spot where you won't be able to charge your electronic devices). I'm sure there are other things you should know before hitting the road, but those topped my list.
