hi. been lurking on this site for probably over a year now. I was kinda nervous about signing up 'cause internet forums have a reputation for being a bit, well...evil to newcomers. but yeah, I'm here now. I'm Phyl, and I come from Birmingham, UK, though I moved to the south west when I was really young. you can probably guess that isn't my full name. I don't like using it 'cause it sounds a lot like an STD...I'm not much of a traveller, but I'm planning a trip up the coast this summer. looking forward to getting to know you guys, and benefitting from all your info. peace.
 
hey, thanks. Birmingham's a cool place, some great people there. I just wish I'd seen more of the city while I lived there. the one thing that pisses me off is every time you say you're from there, some jackass tries to imitate your accent. badly.
