Hey,
My name's Mick and, at the moment, I'm in the Scottish Highlands working as a tree-counter for a while and saving up to buy a narrowboat next year.
For the time being I'm stuck up here getting paid to spend all day walking around the woods with my dog but, next spring I'll be mobile again. Until then I've got this Forestry Commission computer and it rains a hell of a lot so...

Hey Mick . I'd love to see the Scottish Highlands. Are they as beutiful has people say? Sometimes i wish my ancestors had never left.:D
 
It's an amazing place to stay, very rugged and beautiful. You can walk for days without seeing anyone.
It would be a lot nicer if it wasn't for the midges, though,they're unstoppable.:eek:

I'm glad to see that there is another person out there who still appreciates the writings of Ed Abbey. He is definitely one of my favorites...
