gettin board with life, looking for some excitement and getting the hell out of town and planning a train hopping trip. I wanna go out west to Seattle Washington for starters from ohio! I know i have alot of work to do, but an Tips, cautions, help would be great! ill be checkin out a yard soon to get an idea of how it works.

I would have to suggest-as would most people on here- that you don't try hopping west at this time of year. It's one thing to be stuck at a truck stop somewhere in the midwest and have your thumb get numb, and it's quite another to be stuck on a moving train you can't get off when the weather turns deathly sour. Don't risk it. Wait until spring has sprung at least! Welcome to STP
