Hey , i'm Sophie (people call me spud... I really like potatoes) i'm 19 and I live in the south of the UK. I'm an aspiring photojournalist and take my camera everywhere.

I feel very trapped and certainly not free in my current situation and it needs to change. I don't know much about squatting and hopping trains, I was made homeless once but got lucky and slept on a friends couch until a place to live came up, but that's why I'm here to possibly meet new friends and learn some skills.

I want nothing more than to travel, everywhere and anywhere but I want to head to New York with all my heart. I don't know why, I just have to and I don't know how to go about it. Living in the UK there doesn't seem to be many sites like this to find contacts (I realise this is mostly US orientated) but hey, there's no harm in trying.

What kinda photojournalism do you do? eh? like nitty gritty stuff or do you take a picture of a bridge and write and essay on how they paid 19872387234632 billion dollars to build it, writing is good

Oh fuck I wish I had the inspiration to take photos of kittens and edit them in photoshop.

I take photos of every day life. People in the street, spontaneous stuff. I don't bother with all that editing bullshit because people should appreciate the beauty that is already around them. I take a lot of photos in abandoned buildings. Blah blah blah.
 
Ben - Around the Poole and Bournemouth area.
Clouds - I did do until recently. I removed it a few weeks back because I wanted to try and build a portfolio from scratch. If I ever openit again will post the link here :)
