Question has anyone here been to a faery gathering? (radical faeries)

i'm curious about faery gatherings and was wondering if anyone here has been to one.
what are your experiences? how did the vibe feel for you? where were you?

I spent some time about 15 years ago with the radical faeries in rural tennessee. it was wonderful, magical, lighthearted, and hedonistic. definitely not for someone who is straight in any sense of the word. lots of travelers.

sounds lovely!! how did you find them?
how did you experience the crowd? was it dominated by cis-males?

I found them through WWOOFing, I was looking for nearby farms to work/live at and this one mentioned being at an intentional queer community, which sounded perfect to me. it was absolutely dominated by cis men at the time but some of the folks I knew then have transitioned now and I’ve heard there’s a lot more gender diversity in general. at the time I was a young queer cis girl and they were very welcoming regardless.
