Next week tuesday I will be arriving in FoCo on a bus with little cash and a possible place for a tent. I dont know much about the area as I'm from Wisconsin and have only been out to CO once. Any neat places to check out or general info I should know?

i spent like a day and a half there and it's a nice little college town with plenty of spange spots up and down the avenue. ppl are pretty friendly. good camp spots down by the river that runs thru town

Yeah I'm actually staying down by the river in someone's backyard. Almost wondering if it would be safer to just find a spot by the river.

Honestly I have no idea I don't know them. Craigslist. Probably safer to just go out on my own after what I read about that christian couple killing travelers.

FoCo is AWESOME. There are 3 breweries there: AB; New Belgium; and one other: ODells I think. Anyways you can get fugged up for free at all 3.

FoCo is awesome. Dont camp by the river. Camp up in the foothills by the csu football stadium. They have a SWEET food pantry.
