Finding a Boat

Let me know if I missed an already existing thread to this effect. Anyways I've been working for a bit and learning how to sail and have been looking to pick up a sailboat around 24ft on the cheap to live on. I've started to hit up marina auctions etc. Does anyone have any thoughts on what models to look out for?

Depends on where you want to go,if you want to go out into the openseas,you need a bluewater boat,but if you want to just go the intercoastal,then anything will do
