I've been on the road about 4 years now, but only recently discovered this site thanks to someone I couchsurfed with. I'm fairly new to traveling as an out person, and it's definitely been a different experience than it was before. Just did a full hitchhike trip from the east coast to the west, and thinking I'll stay in the bay for a few months before I continue hitchhiking, but while I'm here I thought it'd be nice to relax and join a community of like minded folks who can swap stories and advice.

Thank you! I'll try to remember everything and post about it if I have time, I usually don't keep photos or track them but this time I did a little!
