2016 Jamboree Convoy from the Bay?

interesting.. how many people have vehicles, & who wants to go?

2 vehicles leaving from the bay, 10-20, to jambo..

there's definitely a fuel pot on hand.. about 100 gallons..

folks coming from the north should figure on meeting up, folks further south can be intercepted..

the main point is that we should be able to get at least 4 committed vehicles down there..

anybody going from the bay area, we should be able to do at least 1 tank, if you have 3 folks or more, & *anybody* that shows up will get at least a few gallons to start the ride down..

BTW.. my phone has been entirely fucked for the past week..

I've been lusting over this plan since y'all threw it out.

First, I thought I'd try to passenger along, but I just got offered a cheap truck while staying up here. My ride is leaving south in a few days, but I may see if I can cram a bunch of odd jobs together and drive there myself with you crazy fucks.

Got a crazy CL gig that just ended: got paid hourly to load a U-Haul, then got a flat rate to drive it to Palm Springs, with a plane ticket back to town.

In 36 grueling hours, I earned my baby. Now, I just keep scrapping for work to get it registered--not gonna both with insurance--and whatever, tune it up, buy a cap, then I'm south!

My short career of tramping so far has been leather-bound til' now. Crazy excited.

I'm looking for a ride from the SF bay and have pitch on gas. Would love to catch a seat on this convoy. Message me if one is still available.

Update: Doesn't look like this truck will be road-ready in time.

May opt to leave it here with a mechanic friend who needs a vehicle for a while. He'll get her tip-top 'til I return.

So, barring a miraculous combo of odd jobs coming along, I'll be hitching to the Bay and catching a seat with y'all.
 
SO I too need a ride (from West Oakland). I have gas $ and can help drive, too. Open for leavin whenever.
