Cheap alice and molle pack stuff?

Hey everyone, I need a medium sized alice pack for train hopping and everywhere I look online sells them for quite a bit of money, like over 20 bucks which doesn't sound like a lot until you consider that that doesn't include a frame or any straps or anything. Since I'm buying those seperate Im gonna splurge a bit and go for the molle II straps and kidney belt as well as the molle gen IV frame. I was wondering where I can get some or all of that for a fair price. I can try trading the store my old pack but idk if they'd go for that. I already tried the local surplus stores and they sell that stuff for even more than online, I work at a goodwill and know we definitely don't have one and I even checked other thrift stores around the area. What can I do?

The surplus stores your going to are probably the high end type. Try to find one of those dusty ol' type a ones with bins full of random straps and cheap older bags.
 
Agreed never been to a surplus store that wasn't 10x the price of online...maybe before the survivalism craze.
