Magazine How to Make Custom Fitted Shoes

A bit more intensive then the other article I posted, although more so with the sole. A good over all tutorial, although I personally would probably use rubber for a sole instead of cork, but I've never tried these so ya. 39 Pages PDF

    Shoe repair ...

That's easy, if there's enough meat there to hem it sew it right to the base of the rubber lip, or even the sole of the shoe if that rips out, it'll last you a few more months if not a year if you do it right. If you can't hem it, stitch some exess fabric over it and hem that.

    Shoe repair ...

If you want good results and not to have to do it again its gonna take some sewing, take a rip and cut it back until there's enough meat to grab on and sew in a patch, the rubber along the top outside of the sole will hold a thread pretty log I you go deep enough, always use synthetic threads...

Travelling with a 'problem' dog / advice on training

thank you, this is exactly what i was trying to say, you dont have to be a dick about it and hipcheck them on the ground, its more the symbolic nature of the move then the actual force behind it. your putting the dog in a position where its freaking out for whatever reason, and your telling him...

Travelling with a 'problem' dog / advice on training

Im not even going to start a debate on that one. Like I mentioned, My step father bred and trained malamutes, dogs were my life. look, I gave my input, you gave yours. Im not interested in arguing over 50 years of animal behavioral study. In the end its up to her to choose the appropriate...

Travelling with a 'problem' dog / advice on training

Pretty much has gotta change to exactly, depending on the age and type of dog it is it could take a long time, raising a dog properly is a hard task, and leash training should have started around 6 weeks and you have already said shes over a year, while its not impossible it will be hard and you...

    Suicidal ideation

lifes too short, we create our own realities and live in them, every once in a while go right against your instincts and learn as much as possible everyday. know more, work harder, expect less, rely on no one but yourself and remember you cant offend, only be offended. pick hairs when picking...

Travelling with a 'problem' dog / advice on training

one of the only things you can really do in this case is to try and socialize her on the leash more, a good way to start this is to have someone else with a dog as well. have your friend stand with their dog nearby, 20 feet or so from you and your dog, when your dog starts going apeshit, stand...

Keeping Warm, Warming/Insulation for squats in the winter

'Seal' a room and build a few terracotta pot candle heaters, a small hobo rocket stove could work too if you slap a brick under it and a few around the sides to encapsule it and chimney it out the window, a small fire in a room isnt that dangerous as long as you dont act like a fucking moron and...

Staff sling, not mine but still a neat concept, one would obviously use it as a walking stick then if need be could huck the heaviest object near by at a distant threat, the stick itself could be used for close to mid range defense, and it can be used for hunting. not even just that, one could...
