    Photos Lets see those bikes!

Thought I should put up my new bike. 2019 Salsa Marrakesh. It's heavy but steady, really pleased with the ride quality.

    Question Dogs and bikes

Get a trailer for your dog to ride in, seems to be the safest set-up I've seen.

Photos Great Air Matress for Bike Camping

I've got one. It's pretty light weight. I did have a valve leak two nights in a row, so I bought Thermarest NeoAir. Later I found out, I wasn't tightening the valve tight enough and it works just fine. Uhhh. But hey, I have a spare now. The Klymit Static V is a nice sleep pad for...

Do you sleep with a weapon

In some sketchy areas, I'd sleep with a knife with a lanyard attached to my right wrist. It's instantly in my hand without searching.

Thank you for the information. I am going to check it closer. My intent has more to do with maintaining a residence status while traveling and living in other states.

    Best State to Register

I'm not sure if the OP was intending to live in the state but was inquiring more about getting his car registered vs becoming an actual resident. I myself would be interested in Nevada but your difficulty would make me rethink my decision. I don't know for sure on the details but NM would...

where is a good place to get a good cheap bike? and also,

I find Craigs to be the most helpful. I'd look for late 80's through early 90's MTB's. Rigid front and rear, always pick a larger size than normal, steel preferably in mostly original condition. I look for $150 or less price range in very good condition minimum. I also look at the...

DIY: How to build a Wooden Wind Generator

Here's one with a bike hub dynamo. This particular Shimano hub I've seen on the net for about 40 bucks or so. The use split PVC pipe for blades. With a little ingenuity, this is a very viable energy source. I've got one that I intend to use for charging USB gadgets.

    Stopping by to say Hi

Don't really know much but would like to Hi to the folks out there. I've actually been homeless on several occasions. I kinda feel that way now because I'm not all that secure in my present apartment. I'm okay though. Just wanted to say Hi.
