Look for small trailheads.its really common for people to park their cars there while they are on overnight treks into the trails. Some of the bigger trailhead a make you pay so I'd avoid them. The bulk of the trailheads are small and secluded.

I don't think those areas can accommodate a large group of people BUT there is most definitely spots in the forest that can for sure. One of them is the thirteen tiered waterfall tent site at the Lincoln woods trailhead. It's about a 6/8(can't remember exactly) mile hike on fairy flat trails out...

Love this place and know it well. You can hike for years here and still have many places left to explore. Did you drive through Franconia notch? Great pics!

Go around the neighborhood and pick up trash. Better the space you are in, wave and say hi to the dickheads and assholes.. Kill them them with kindness.

    Moto-Trampin' travel log.

Bikes beer and rock n roll. That's how best to describe bike week in Laconia NH. I had a fucking blast there and met a ton of cool people from old school scooter tramps to retires that rode across the country to get there. I saw a bunch of great bands all for free and ate like a king off of all...

    Moto-Trampin' travel log.

So me and above described friend went random night fishing with some people we met. At first my primary goal was to just get drunk and listen to the bullfrogs but they soon caught a tender sized Horn pout (very similar to a catfish) the hook was buried in its gullet and I knew it was going to...

    Moto-Trampin' travel log.

So a quick update from my shitty phone. I traveled down to Gloucester to find a beautiful harbor and a city steeped in history. I could litterally picture it back in the day, a lot of the buildings were preserved. The city and harbor were so nice to see, the people not so much. Capitalist greed...

    Moto-Trampin' travel log.

I finaly feel prepared enough(skill and gear) to start moto-trampin around. I quit my job and took the last twenty bucks I had and headed to Maine. Being from NH I thought it was a good place to test my grit on two wheels. I did not have the packing(sissy) bar as pictured above so had my pack on...

    Motorcycle Thoughts

Hey thanks Charmander, some good advice.. etpyh- I'm going to start a thread for my bike travels at some point, I'll throw a link to it on this one. Right now I'm just outfitting my bike with a packing bar and slowly gathering the few remaining supplies I'll need. Still debating on bringing my...

    Motorcycle Thoughts

This past winter in northern New England had me itching to travel. I really wanted to get out of the frozen wonderland I call my home and travel the vast of this place we call America. As much as my troubled mind wanted to leave I just couldn't leave behind my bike. Riding the mountain valleys...
