The Berserkly route is great! Honestly though, about 15 bucks will get you all the way to Santa Rosa from downtown San Fran. Even less to like San Rafael and Novato which are some pretty cool towns from my experiences. Those seem to be the last little honey spots I hit before making my way up...

trim season in cali. I went for just trim but ended up working some farms and all type of random jobs. I'm considering going down myself since I don't start school until winter. One last hurrah!

Haha! Yeah, get in and get out. I got to the bay early November 2013 with the intention of heading further south. I ended up just dicking around with other travelers in the area and never made it past San Jose. When I finally left it was April 2014 and I was hitching back north out of Sausalito.
