I've thought about getting a puppy this summer for when I hit the states, but then I'd be in a tough spot if I ever needed to get a bus anywhere. In 2007 I traveled from Florida to Arizona with a girl who had a full grown great dane. It was waaayyyy too big and made things difficult ...I bailed on her in Carlsbad because of it. ha
