    tried calling you the other day. i was downtown. may have called too early. in encinitas right now. the cops told me not to be downtown bc they are crackin down on transient people. hopefully you can get up with me before i have to sign off at the library. i may go check out ocean beach though.

    i hope you enjoy the bike trip. i would like to do that at some point, probably next winter. it is a bit trickier having a dog and no sidecar for the bike. :) are you riding freight or thumbin it around?

    Glad to hear your havin a fun time. Im in Paso Robles, CA for another 11 days then my dog should be ready to ramble and we are heading south. Ive been homebummin it here for a minute, workin on palm tree nurseries, making the occasional trip to venice beach. Hit me up when you get to Cali, I may still be there. Thinking about going to Ocala though.

    awesome. are you riding freight there? hows life goin? hope you enjoy new mexico. carlsbad caverns is definately worth checking out. its only like six bucks for an unguided tour. im in paso robles CA right now. my dog got hit last week and now were getting her rehabilitated which may take six weeks. hit me up.

    im in carlsbad, new mexico right now. going to albaquirky sunday or monday, then i should be on freight to CA and ill probably end up staying in CA for a couple months maybe longer. Siddartha was a good one. my favorites by Hesse were Demain and Steppenwolf, both about internal struggles between dark and light, civilized and wild. great reads. hows WI?
