Oh hey, I'm not sure what exactly is happening this summer. I'm looking to tree plant or work somewhere on the West coast, maybe go down to Illinois for a festival in early July, then head west again to pick fruit. i'm still trying to get the tree planting gig. I'd be heading west only at the end of April in that case. Certainly hoping to ride and hitch some this summer. We'll have to keep in touch man. For sure if you're heading out early and coming through hear, we need to meet up. It's +2 celcius here today, and it makes me want to go down to the yard and start scouting for info and figure out this summer business.

Na man looks like the rest of the riding season is in limbo now until I get court sorted out. Macteir is a great place to catch out of. you should be able to bag a loco no problem. Just be sure to be on an intermodal if you want to make it through Thunder bay

Doing good, getting some stuff done for school. I'm also getting a few things sorted out before hitting the rails in late Aug. But that's the plan... As seen in my summer travel plans thread.

Hey Brother...man got fucking soaked heading to Halifax and it was pretty much the same wthing on the way back up until Edmondston..was not the best riding but made it..not to mention breaking in new docs so the backs of my heels are down to the bone...Im in Ottawa right now and I may be here for a while..got into a bit of shit with the cops..nothing train related though but I have court on the 18th then well see

Nice, ya its a long run solo but its a good experience, Im always glad to get off after a long tour like that..did you ride Intermodals all the way?

Glad you didn't have any problems..I heard some reports that they were checking alot of the trains..got me wondering. what happened on Moncton?

Im heading to Halifax end of may but I wont be trecking out west and north until probably September..I have a few things tying me down until then...either way Ill prob. meet up for beers with you way before then.

hahaha I wasnt busted but I was with them earlier, I caught the train before them and didnt have any issues. you can actually see the trailer for a doc on that trip on youtube: its called await the freight..
