Hitching out of Santa Maria. Final stretch baby! Fingers crossed I get an LA ride before nightfall!
King City on ramps be deader than doornails. Gonna bus it to San Luis Obispo soon, hope to get to LA by day’s end.
On the final stretch to L.A. On an on ramp to the 80 towards San Fran and NO ONE is stopping lol. May have to bite the bullet and get a Capitol Corridor or Amtrak.
Dropped off in Redding. Any tips on hitching to Chico?
Still have some light to catch a ride but it looks like I’ll be spending the night in Dunsmuir. Hope to get to Chico tomorrow.
Spent the night in Ashland. I’m hoping to get to Chico by day’s end.
Spent the night in Roseburg. Gonna be in Ashland by 1. Hang for a bit, keep going south.
Hitching out of Roseburg. The last few days have been slower than I like but that’s part of the game.
Just got a ride to Eugene. Looking likely I will spend the night there.
Dropped off at a rest stop just before Albany, OR. Hopefully I can get a longer ride before the sun goes down.

Got a short ride to Salem. Still no room for standing or pulling over really on the I-5 pn ramp. Gonna try from the road that leads to the on ramp, across the Costco. Hoping to make it to Grant’s Pass or Ashland by tonight.
Spent the night in Tualatin. Both on ramps to the 5 near me had work and no room to stand or pull over. Gonna take the bus to Wilsonville, try my luck there.
Got a ride all the way to Portland! Will be there a few days, til Sunday at least.
Walking to North Bend. Didn’t seem to be any good hitch spots in Coos Bay.
Hitching out of Coos Bay today. Goal is to get up to Newport, switch over to the I-5, then up to Portland by the day’s end.
Spending the night in Coos Bay. Hoping to be in Portland.
Got a ride to Brookings. Gonna try to get another ride before eventide.
No one was pulling over in Arcata. Took a bus to Crescent City. Hoping to get to Oregon by tonight.
