Appreciation of the Squat the planet team!!

Hey thanks for the acknowledgements and whatnot. We're not used to this. Usually it's more like "RAWR fUcK yOU STP yOU'rE aLL juSt A BUncH oF nAZI BuLliES"

It's been a while, we've pretty much systematically removed all those assholes at this point but that's usually the only "thanks" we're used to getting.

The admins are the real ones though. There was a time when the moderators had their hands full but it's been pretty chill lately.

There's also some folks who aren't part of the admin/mod team who deserve a lot of praise. I don't wanna necessarily name names but y'all know who you are.

Those that read just about every bit of content added here and report the bad actors. This saves the admin/mod team a lot of time by having concerns raised to our attention without us having to go over everything with a fine tooth comb.

Huge thank you to y'all for those efforts.

Amen, Hell yes, this compendium, resource center and fellowship hall is a comfort to those who may ever be feeling lost or alone.
 
aww thanks for the very kind comments folks. jimmy beans is right, it's a largely thankless job, but it's nice to hear those compliments.

@Brookeeeeeeeee and @eyes both deserve a lot of credit for keeping up the web hosting for stp, and we all hope to have some interesting plans for the community in the future.
 
Damn. Why haven’t I ever thought of that? Such a simple gesture yet only one went out and actually did it. We take way too much for granted apparently.

Big thanks to the whole StP team, I’m not much of a talker around here but it’s been an endless goldmine of knowledge! Which reminds me, can I make any kind of donation anywhere for the site? I feel like it’s way overdue for me.

Well us introverted anti social folk are greatful for you the stp team
 
It don't matter who starts it ..ik since I've started on here back In like 2015..I've seen some of the issues the team has dealt with..and was to shy to thank them for dealing with it ..but given the way the world is currently...
it's best to let them know we are greatful for them..
 
Thanks for taking the time to thank everyone who keeps this space open for everyone.

I haven't been around too much lately, because life is pain, but hopefully I can come back in and be more involved here soon.

@Jimmy Beans ya with the amount of people that have been banned off of StP for being total douchbags, I run into very few people on the road that have beef with Stp. Even people who have been banned are like 'ya, I get it, I was probably being a dick'.

...and I've met a lot of people out there. It's kinda funny.

I discovered this site late last year and read that it was shutting down 1/25. To see it still up
this year was a surprise and shock! Happy to see it still going and the community continue on. We appreciate you STP team!!
