currently an undergrad in environmental science with a minor in biology at SUNY Purchase. i havent traveled much in my life but long island is a claustrophobic over-populated conservative shithole and in the last few months ive been researching methods of cheap/free travel and adventure i guess. my worldview has been confined to the new york metro area for my whole life and im hungry to see what life is actually like for the rest of america. im mostly motivated with jounralistic interest in this country but im also just trying to have an adventure and see things no one else has seen. summer of 2023 is when i plan to take off and see where the road takes me. i am particularly interested in hitch-hiking and freight-hopping as modes of transportation but i will likely end up sneaking on some greyhounds or amtraks. who knows. anywhere but here
