  • Traded the bicycle in exchange for a ride and a few nights in Chattanooga, staying in the bougie-est place ever somewhere downtown with some normie friends. Gotta get to Ohio for some VA shit at some point, and on the 26th I'm in Missouri for an army basic training graduation. Vegas at the end of the month...

Having plans for more than a few days out feels weird...

    GLAD TO BE TRAVELING AGAIN!!
Gotta get out of Corbin, Kentucky in about a week or so--trying to get to Tennessee by the 19th. If anyone's planning to head by please hit me up!
    FINALLY ABOUT TO TRAVEL AGAIN!!!

Bike tour. From Cincinnati, OH to Fort Benning, GA to Leadville, CO to Seattle, WA.

Can't wait. It's been too long. Never been a cyclist, but I got everything I need, I'm in stoopid good shape, and I'm ready for whatever the world brings.

    FUCKING SEND IT!!!!!
Been back in Mexico for about a month now following my trip from South Dakota to Texas. I've been getting a lot of writing projects, been making a lot of sales, but man...The road and the trains keep calling out my name.

Once this shit's in your blood, it never really goes away, does it?
Completed my first train hop! It was a short one, only 100 miles, but I can officially check that off my bucket list. Now to make my way south to Mexico!

Hey fellas; thanks for the comments! Im hitch hiking down HWY83 now, which should get me to Texas. Im going to try to hop a train to AZ from there. My gf lives just on the other side of the border there. Im soooo ready to be home!
Alright Pierre, it's been real (shitty). This is the biggest butthole of a town I've ever been in, and I'm ready to leave. On the plus side, I'm FINALLY gonna get a train hop under my belt! The tracks only lead west...Let's see where I end up!
Pierre, South Dakota...Land of rednecks, MAGA supporters, and boot-lickers. But worst than ALL of that, they fucking suck at tipping their bartenders -_- Fuck this place in a big way.
Pierre, South Dakota is one of the prettiest, dullest places I've ever worked in. But hey; at least I have a pretty river and rolling hills to look at as I'm picking out my eyes with boredom...

*Her. I'm sorry; I shouldn't have assumed gender.

Right now I'm trying to find weed and/or shrooms haha. I LOVE nature, but tripping makes it so much better! A dude I talk to at work is a fan of psychedelics as well, but he doesn't have a hook up.Conscious-expanding drugs and hiking is always a great way to make friends haha
Looks like I'm heading to South Dakota in about a week. If anyone comes through Pierre hit me up! I'm gonna be bartending, and I'll hook up my fellow travelers with a cocktail or four ;-)
Does anyone have any experience in Pierre, SD? I got a job offer to bartend there for a bit and I'm giving it some serious thought. I've been in Hermosillo, Mexico for almost 7 months and my girlfriend & I are sort of eager to head somewhere else. Thoughts?

That is probably the better idea. Plus, if you’re by yourself, you can likely more easily save money, depending on how willing you are to do stuff like sleep in your van, etc. Or just a cheap room, instead of apartment. Good luck.
I am CRAWLING up the walls with cabin fever! I'm quarantined in Mexico and missing the road. How's everyone else?

ah ya, about the same here, but stuff just started to open again until 9pm which has been cool. we've had designated shopping hours (you're assigned certain hours depending on your local ID/passport #) for like 3 months, but the past couple weeks they've been more flexible, it went from only 16 hours over 3 days to the entirety of 3 days and then an 8 hour period on a 4th day.
yeah it is rather lame but i feel like it's pushing me to do more monotonous and less indulgent stuff that should be beneficial. if that makes any sense hahaha
Tonight's dumpster hall? A beer bong in one dumpster and an unopened can of White Claw in another.

The god of gutter punks CLEARLY wants me to drink.

I love that emoji more than I can say haha
Planes, trains, and automobiles (though in reverse order).

On the bua to Denver so I can take the train to the airport and then fly off to the Grand Canyon! Word of the wise: if you're looking for seasonal work, it's best to avoid Copper Mountain. Management is inconsistent and the pay isn't great. It might be worth it if you're a ski bum, but most of the people on that mountain are snobs and not worth the hassle
Just now realized there was a social media aspect to this site; I've been using it strictly for forums this entire time! Kinda stoked to realize this haha
