At the moment, I reside on a small island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
My otherhalf & I are lucky enough to have a trailer that we are able to stay at for no cost of rent, only have to pay the very little amount of electricity that we use [without jobs]. We have been honing our growing [gardening, and fruit tree/bush/vine planting] and foraging [for wild grains, vegetables, fruits & nuts] skills along with sustainable housing concepts and practices such as rain barrels, constructing out of local wood [or bamboo!], [shit & waste] composting, solar hotwater heating, solar/fire cooking, alternative refrigeration [root cellars, container in running water, etc.] and generally getting to know ourselves and how to sustainably, holistically & naturally support ourselves and our Husky pup not depending on consumerism each day as we EVOLve.
