If you've ever seen broken glass on the sidewalk, you might have seen me, you, and everyone we know in between each shard. An ominous view, we are the markings of a troubling incident: a car crash, a shattered 40, a broken window. Yet, on a sunny day, if you look long enough, you can see the sunlight refract off our jagged edges, creating a mosaic of unnamed hues. It's the saddest beauty you'll ever see.
I'm houseless, not homeless.
