Born in Oregon, grew up in a middle/lower class/poverty household (depending on time period). Left home at 15, hopped out the first time by myself around then (still graduated school). Haven't "traveled" in a year or two. Hopped around alot living between citys sense then though.

Now: Looking to get out of Oregon, my bestfriends are rubber tramping around for a while, we plan on ending up in Georgia area maybe Tennessee and getting property in the next year or two.
I'm buying a cheap truck to hit Austin, then plan on selling it an hopping out for a while. Probably around May 2019.

Haven't hopped trains or hitched sense about 17, so looking for any help with info like: places to avoid (due to sketchy kids or sketchy yards)/gnarly tunnels/and so on.

Thanks y'all, just joined but all my friends have been traveling for like 10yrs, and are now settling. I've known about this site for a while because of them just really want to meet some people with the same interests and love for this shit, an need some help on info and such so decided to finally join.
