I'm an open-minded onlooker, not a tramp or pretender to trampdom. I am interested in the ways that the needs and desires of STP folk overlap with vandwelling/boondocking nomads on one end and the homeless on the other.
I am nearing retirement and am pouring my resources (time and money) into a Promaster high roof cargo van boondocking build that will be my home. It is functional with nothing fancy or extraneous.
My plan is to snowbird-boondock in the western half of the US. The east holds little interest for me, although it is beautiful in places.
I found STP from a mention on CRVL; there was so much anti-STP judgement in that post I decided to come see for myself. I do find some commonality here and some things I find objectionable. But that is how life is, amirte?
My plan here is to share what I have learned when it might be helpful, contribute to the discussion when appropriate, try to keep my own biases in check, and treat others with compassion.
