I have a secret I was told to keep
'A gift from the Creator'
My mother said to me
'You must never tell others'
My mother said as she did weep
'And You must never do this again'
She cried as she held my hands

'Why?'
I asked, confused
'Because then you will die'
My mother was scared, for it was I she afraid to lose
'How would I die if I were to save....'
'Because they will cut you from neck to nave!'
My mother interrupted, aghast
'You wouldn't be the first and you will not be the last'
'Promise me you will never tell anyone'
'I promise'
'Promise me you will show no one'
'I promise'

(I was 3 years old when this happened.... I had somehow helped a dead crow fly again.... and it really shocked my mother.... she later told me that this gift runs in the family and that my grandfather had the same gift but the gift tends to skip a few generations..... that's why she wasn't scared... she was just shocked because the gift wasn't supposed to show until I was older and with proper training..... She said that my grandfather was a Shaman and that I am too..... Till this very day I still have not had any proper training in regards to my gift because my grandfather died a few weeks or months before I helped that dead crow fly again...... its possible that when he died he transferred the gift to me because maybe he somehow knew that I would never misuse or abuse this gift.... I don't know.... I'm just guessing on that one....)
