I'm a 30 year old male who's about to leave new england for the first time in 8 years besides foreign travel. Use to camp but not in a while. I can collect wood and make it give off heat when needed. As far as the road, I am a greenhorn through and through. I've spent my late 20s doing non profit homeless outreach and love helping people, not the burocrasy. Hate the system designed around helping people and getting burnt out from it.
I've never cared about materialism; only thing I've collected over the years is music. All about simple living, but also like working hard if it's something I care about. 20 hours working to find someone housing, no problem. 8 hours doing pointless data entry, fuck that.
Grew up with a working class construction father, which helped keep my mind open to the good and bad from people of all religious, economic, social backgrounds. Love learning and having debates with people from both sides of an issue, but never ok with racist, sexist, homophobic, hateful people.
If you're open minded, enjoy sharing life stories, and want to talk or educate me about current or historical social movements, we will get along. If you have any stories behind terrible tattoos we can share and laugh. I have the honeycombs guy doing a crooked grind on my body.
