No, you're not the only one who's noted that...

I know what you're saying about the band, but I'm not so sure that's an in-depth assessment - not that I want to get into defending The Beatles, or probably any band. These guys used LSD and kinda promoted it via their records, and Lennon on solo did a benefit for John Sinclair. They created their own label, which is usually something appreciated in the DIY scene. Whatever, I don't care enough to keep going. It seems like there's a bit of trend of Beatles-bashing going around, and I just don't see it; The Rolling Stones are clearly more corporate.

What's s o wrong with The Beatles? So many people these days hate on them, I don't get it, they were brilliant; their stuff is timeless and was pretty groundbreaking.
