Been fortunate to have done a lot of traveling b4 9/11. Hitchhiked from Montreal to the Kenai peninsula, southern Europe and Mexico. Learned to sail on my own and lived aboard an o'day25 in NYC waters for about 4 yrs. All season sailing for me, preferred winter sailing only because there wasn't much traffic. i'm familiar with NYC waters and the mid-Atlantic. Found a 1975 Catalina 30 and will live aboard. It needs work but it sails and has a working engine. Have been riding for over 20yrs and usually ride 70's, 80's Japanese. Have rebuilt a couple and am working on an 82 sr250. Love to keep busy with machines and look forward to sailing and squatting in NYC harbor.
